The Eddi is the perfect complementary product for Solar PV systems that struggle to capture excess energy, created during sunny periods. Using a wireless sensor installed on the meter tails, the Eddi detects any exported energy, usually from solar generation & then using varisine patented technology, diverts only the excess amount of energy to your resistive heating load (ie immersion heater) mitigating gas or oil consumption for hot water heating.

Requirements
- Dedicated immersion circuit.
- Working immersion element. Check by switching on (should sound like a kettle boiling if the cylinder is not already up to temperature.
- If the immersion circuit is shared by other equipment such a shower pumps, central heating, intruder alarms, then the Eddi will need to be located at the cylinder position & will require a Harvi wireless sensor in addition located at the meter position to see any export & signal to the Eddi.
